With a catalog full of effective hard baits and soft plastics, what could a company like Strike King possibly do to add to their product offering? How about offer a complete bait system consisting of a soft plastic and the terminal tackle with which to fish that soft plastic? Maybe a fishing line too? Oh and sure, why not add another crankbait while they're at it?

Leveraging the popularity of the latest finesse fishing craze, Strike King is releasing their new, Rage Ned Bug

Zander has been fishing the Rage Ned Bugs for a few weeks now and finding them to be effective when fished Ned, Shakey, or on a drop shot

Rage Ned Bug: Leveraging the popularity of the latest finesse fishing craze, Strike King is releasing their new, Rage Ned Bug. This is a kind of downsized and more slender version of their Rage Bug tailored specifically for ned rigging but will no doubt be effective in other finesse applications as well. Strike King plans to offer the Rage Ned Bug in 15 different colors.

Strike King's new Tour Grade Ned Rig Head is built on Eagle Claw hardware

TG Ned Rig Head: Of course, every Ned rig bait deserves a jig head so why not build one to match your new bait? Strike King, together with Eagle Claw, has done just that with the new Tour Grade Ned Rig Head. This new piece of terminal tackle features a light wire, #2 sized, sickle style hook and a wire bait keeper to go with the round shaped head with a flat bottom so the bait can stand up. It will be offered in 1/16th, 3/16th, and 1/8oz sizes in both green pumpkin and black with an MSRP of $4.99.

Strike King is set to launch a complete suite of fishing lines

Tour Grade Line: Most companies that venture from other segments of the industry into the production of fishing line do so with only one type. Strike King is doing so with all three, fluorocarbon, braid, and nylon monofilament. Their fluoro and mono line will be offered in strengths from six through twenty five pound test (6-25lb) and in spools of 200 - 600 yards while the braid will be offered in eight to eighty pounds (8-80lbs) in green and hi viz yellow spools of either 150 or 600 yards. Each spool will be precision wound and come with a pre-paid postage envelope for use in recycling your old line.

For those who can't get enough of this bait profile comes the KVD 2.5 Wake

KVD 2.5 Wake: With about five different sizes covering a variety of depths, Strike King's KVD Squarebill is about as broad ranging a squarebill crank can be. This year at ICAST, the company debuted a new, wakebait version of this bait profile, the KVD 2.5 Wake. Taking the body of the KVD 2.5 Squarebill, Strike King changed up the bill so the bait wakes instead of diving. It will come in twelve different colors and retail for an MSRP of $6.99.

Strike King extends their eye wear catalog with the new S11 Clinch Sunglasses

S11 Clinch Optics: As if those introductions weren't enough, Strike King is also debuting a new pair of shades, their S11 Clinch Sunglasses featuring eleven layers of polarized lens technology with colors matched with a bi-gradient mirror treatment providing an extra degree of protection from sunlight and glare. They will be available in two colors, matte black or crystal concrete and paired with yellow silver mirror, green mirror amber, or white blue mirror lenses. Strike King's S11 Clinch sunglasses will retail for $39.99.
