Introduction: 13 Fishing's Concept baitcasting Series continues to undergo refinement and upgrades each season and this year the company that isn't afraid of taking chances turns things up in a big way when it comes to souped up gearing and drag systems.

13 Fishing's New Concept A3 Reel features a brand new hardened brass gear design and a mammoth drag

A Whole New Concept: 13 Fishing knows how to have fun and the Concept A Series has found a very large following among anglers looking for a quality baitcaster at a reasonable price, but when 13 Fishing introduced the Trick Shop upgrades and one of a kind painted reels it literally blew the minds of tackle enthusiasts.

The new reels feature a familiar design, just bigger

This year 13 Fishing's Concept A3 reels focus on delivering even more refinement with a healthy power boost. Power is at the core of the new A3 design, and it all starts with the guts of this new low profile reel. Cut with Japanese Hamai precision, the new H.A.M. gears are hardened brass that are designed to be substantially thicker and more robust than any reel in its class.

All Concept A3 reels compared to a standard Concept A on the right. Can you say big bait reel!

Looking to put the brakes on big fish? The reel's "Bull Drag System" has been upgraded and now is spec'd to deliver over 30lbs. of fish stopping power!
