Introduction:
Just about every boat owner has dealt with it at one time or another, dead batteries and a truck or boat that just doesn't have enough juice to crank the engine. A young company called Weego offers a simple solution for today's outdoor enthusiasts, portable power, in the form of compact jump starters and battery packs.

Meet the Weego family of portable jump starters

The concept of a jump starter is not a new one but many of the units that you may be familiar with are large unwieldy devices that are simply too bulky to carry around, which defeats the purpose of the device in the first place.

They may be samll but they are mighty and start cars, trucks, boats, ATV's and more

Weego sought to change that by providing portable starters that have enough juice to start your engine but still are compact enough to fit in your pocket or be conveniently stowed in your glove compartment or boat locker. Weego chargers can do everything from jump start boats, cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV's, and also charge electronic devices like your smartphones and GPS units.

They are so simple to use the instructions fit on the back of the unit

There are three convenient sizes available for gas or diesel engines and they come with 12V lithium ion batteries that are 6000mAH, 12000mAH, and 18000mAH sizes. The Standard JS6 model (6000mAH) is capable of starting a gas engine up to 4.6L while the Heavy Duty JS12 (12000mAH) can start a larger engine up to 6.4L! Charging time ranges from 1.5 to 5 hours depending on the unit size and the charge will hold for a long time, only losing 2% charge per month when stored.

The Weego units themselves are designed to endure and are built to be light yet rugged and can be charged up to 1000 complete cycles. The jumper cable connectors and safety circuitry is built in and as a bonus there is a LED flashlight, strobe, sos emergency light.

USB ports help anglers charge their consumer electronics while a light/strobe is convenient for emergency situations

At the show we were impressed by how compact these units were as well as how light they are. Even the largest unit which comes loaded with 2 USB ports and an 18000mAH battery weighs in at only 1.5 pounds. The smallest unit weighs less than half a pound and can easily fit in your back pocket.

The Weego units are relatively affordable as well, ranging from $89.99 to $169.99 depending on the unit size. These cleverly designed products help keeps anglers connected and in the game. The peace of mind they offer is the best feature, and the fact that they basically pay for themselves after just a single use makes the Weego a truly compelling option for outdoor enthusiasts.
