Introduction: Legendary is the only way to describe Ted Juracsik and Tibor Reels. Their reels have not only been in the hands of many of the most talented anglers in the world, but they've been used to conquer an uncountable number of species in both fresh and saltwater. On the IFTD side of the show this year, Tibor kept things interesting by showing us new spool designs and color options designed to maximize performance and really spike the WOW meter!

Tibor Series Update: The seasoned Tibor Series of reels is comprised of the Everglades, Riptide, Gulfstream, and Pacific models. While these veterans of fly fishing are mostly unchanged, they will be getting an updated spool design for 2016 which shaves considerable weight off each model (besides the Everglades, which does not benefit from any weight-loss).

This trio of Tibor Signature Series reels sports the brand new hub colors that will be offered.

The Riptide drops from 9.7 ounces to 9 ounces, the Gulfstream falls from 12.5 ounces to 10.9 ounces, while the big-daddy Pacific benefits the most with a drop from 14.5 ounces to 13.2 ounces. Tibor Series reels start at $640 and go up to $770.

Signature Series Hub Colors: Due to impressive popularity, the Signature Series reels get even sexier this year with the addition of several new hub colors. These fresh colors include Sunset Orange, Royal Blue, and Neon Pink. We really dig how these hubs look when contrasted against a spool and frame of another complimentary color. Reel prices range from $685–$865 with no additional charge for custom hub colors.

Conclusion: All Tibor Reels are made in the USA. The redesigned spools and new hub colors will be available everywhere beginning August 1^st.
