Introduction:
Few bait companies have made as much noise in as little time as John Crew's Missile Baits. Anchored by the Editor's Choice Award winning D-Bomb, the company's arsenal grew this year with a new weapon, the D Stroyer launched shortly after the BASS Classic. We didn't really expect to see much else from Crews when we visited the booth, but he actually had a couple of things to show us!

Baby D Stroyer: Before the original D Stroyers can finish drying off the injection machines, Crews was already at work designing and testing the smaller Baby D Stroyer. Now ready to make its debut, we got a look at this down sized bait at ICAST. It is everything its larger sibling is only in a smaller overall package measuring five inches (5") to the original's seven (7). The Baby D Stroyer will be available in 8 colors and sell for $4.99 a pack.

... the new Baby D Stroyer, same great look, in a smaller 5" size.

GP3 : Not really a new bait, but certainly a new color Green Pumpkin Purple Passion, or GP3 for short, is making its way through the product line and will be available first in the D Stroyer, Baby D Stroyer and original D Bomb.

New color! Green Pumpkin Purple Passion or code name GP3.

John Crews is definitely onto something with his bait company.

Conclusion: Little by little with a win here, a new bait there, a fun color there, another tournament win and Missile Baits continues to grow. Their product offering is not as crazy as some soft plastic companies, but the baits they do have are designed well and work. What more do you need? We're anxious to get on the water with both the D Stroyer and Baby D Stroyer to see what those Delta and Clear Lake Bass have to say about the new baits!
