Introduction:
Halo Fishing is a rod company that focuses on delivering quality rods at very reasonable prices for anglers. Their rods do not shy away from the spotlight and feature striking colors that scream fun. This ICAST the team at Halo introduced three new Series II rod lines starting with a redesign of their popular Twilite rods.

There is no mistaking Halo rods on the water

Twilite Series II: Building off their existing Twilite Series rods the company rolled out the new Twilite Series II rods. These rods are refined with subtle changes and more radical cosmetics. The rods make use of high grade graphite blanks that are designed to be both lighter and more sensitive.

The new Twilite Series II rods make use of red EVA grips

The guides are steel SIC and the actions on each of the rods are designed with direct input from their tournament pros. There are thirteen new casting and spinning rods to choose from, and each will retail for only $199 dollars when they become available at the end of September.

Daylite Series II: The all new Series II Daylite rods are designed to offer anglers a surprising amount of features and performance for a great price. These rods make use of a matte blank, stainless steel SIC guides and a combination split grip with a EVA butt and cork main grip.

These mainstream oriented rods are all 7 feet or longer in length and are designed to address the complete spectrum of applications. The best feature of all? Probably the aggressive price of only $99 dollar per rod!

Time to get Crankin!: Also new this year from Halo are four new rods designed specifically for cranking applications. The Crankin Series II rods are made out of composite blanks and are loaded with stainless steel SIC guides.

Looking for a powerful cranking rod? Halo has 4 new options

The new rods make use of a hybrid split grip design like the Daylite rods with EVA butts and cork main grips. These rods are designed for heavy cranking and the heaviest model (HFCS2710HC) is 7'10" in length and can handle lures from 1/4-2oz.! The new Crankin II rods will retail from only $149 dollars each.

Thanks to Luyi Zhang for showing us the new rods from Halo, these rods offer anglers a lot for the money!

Halo does a great job providing rods at very aggressive prices for value conscious anglers and this ICAST the company's newest offerings look like they have made a significant jump in terms of refinement. These rods are looking more and more like a matching family and we like how the company is not afraid to incorporate bold cosmetics to stand out from the crowd.
