Daiwa and Evergreen International Partner Up!

Introduction:
The on again, off again availability of baits by JDM manufacturer, Evergreen International is officially on again. In the footsteps of the not too recent Shimano/Jackall partnership, the prestigious JDM tackle manufacturer has entered a partnership with cross country rival, Daiwa to bring Evergreen International baits to North America once again!

Need to refresh your stock on the Wild Hunch?

Baits Only: We know... The first product line our readership thinks of with the mention of prestigious JDM manufacturer Evergreen International is the fishing rods. Unfortunately, the manfacturer's distribution agreement with Daiwa only includes baits - for now. Toshiya Hashimoto, CEO of Evergreen International, tells us they are considering negotiating an agreement to also bring the fishing rods over to the North American market.

Maybe you're looking for this little bit of artwork known as the Kicker Frog.

If you're into poppers, the One's Bug is a must try.

Having covered that, another piece of good news besides the baits' pending availability is a new, universal price. Because of the breadth of Daiwa's reach and their strength as a distributor, retail price on Evergreen International's baits can be stabilized at just $15.99 across the board.

Then there's the versatile Shower Blows.

Yes, Evergreen International is back thanks to their new partnership with Daiwa.

That means baits like the formerly reviewed One's Bug, Kicker Frog, and Wild Hunch, and all of the manufacturer's other baits will be at a more affordable price instead of $22.49, $18, and $19 at the time of their respective reviews.

We're always glad to see Evergreen International CEO, Toshiya Hashimoto, at ICAST and especially pleased when he has good news to share like his new partnership with Daiwa.

Conclusion: Following on the heels of another noteworthy partnership between JDM tackle manufacturers, one can only hope this new venture between Daiwa and Evergreen will bring us equal opportunity to deplete our life savings. This is especially true if the two tackle giants decide to go down the path we all want them to follow and start bringing us some joint venture rods. Can you imagine the Super Stallion Inspire with AGS guides and an airbeam real seat? Or how about the Steez lineup with Kaleido blanks? On another front, maybe a CNC machined Opus-Exist? This has the potential to be wonderfully dangerous.
