Abu Garcia Goes Big in Spinning for ICAST 2015

Introduction: Since Abu Garcia introduced their Revo reels, a lot of attention has been afforded to their low profile baitcasting lineup and while the company did offer spinning reels under this name, the suite was never quite complete. Well, this year, Abu Garcia resolves that issue and then some by filling out the Revo suite of spinning reels!

Weighing in below 7 ounces, the new Revo MGX Spin tops Abu's new line of Revo spinning reels.

Revo MGX Spin: Available in both a 20 and 30 size, the Revo MGX Spinning reel is counterpart to the very popular MGX casting reel. Priced at $299, this new Mg based spinner sports the new AMGearing system - Abu's new machined gear seat for spinning reels!

The MGX comes stock with a shallow and traditional, deep spool.

The Revo Premier spinning reel features the company's new X-Mag one-piece gearbox.

Revo Premier Spin: The Premier spinning reel will be available in 4 sizes, 10, 20, 30, & 40. Priced at $249.99, this reel also sports the AMGearing system as well as a new X-MAG one-piece gearbox making for a more rigid, yet lighter housing for those machined gears.

The Premier will be available in 10, 20, 30, and 40 sizes.

Finally STX gets a spinning reel.

Priced at $199, this reel is sure to attract a lot of attention.

Revo SX, S & Inshore Spin: Abu Garcia refines the pre-existing Revo SX and S spinning reels upgrading SX to the AMGearing system. Also new for the suite this year is a Revo Inshore spinning reel made in 4 sizes: 30, 35, 40, & 60.
