Introduction:
Molix has developed a solid reputation here in America for offering a plethora of quality baits. Despite a brief run, their Fioretto rods also left a positive impression on us in a recent full review. Now, Molix is making some more bold moves with the introduction of new baits and a fresh rod lineup.

The team at Molix has a lot to show us this year

Lover Hard Frog: We were able to scope out this prototype hard frog that is slated to be released in 2015. Designed by Mike Iaconelli, it features an internal weight-transfer system, rattles, and a dual free-swinging hook. Expect color and pricing details closer to the release date.

Spoon 17: Another Ike-designed bait, this spoon features a unique dual-hook system for an increased hookup ratio. Available in 3.5 inch (1/2 ounce) and 4.5 inch (3/4 ounce) sizes, there will be six color options to choose from. Pricing is yet to be announced.

Lover Magnum: The new Lover Magnum vibrating jig comes in silent and rattling versions and weighs up to a robust 1.5 ounces. It is equipped with a large lip, hand-tied skirt, bait keeper, and free-swinging hook. It will come in six colors at a price of $11.99.

Lover Buzz SS: The Lover Buzz SS (Super Squeaky) inline buzzbait is equipped with features like an upgraded large blade and “grinder” for improved commotion and noise, free-swinging hook, and hand-tied skirt. Each bait weighs in at 1/2 ounce and can be had in six color choices with pricing in the neighborhood of $12.99.

Swim Jig: This new swim jig touts a free-swinging 3/0 wide-gap hook to allow Texas rigging, along with a hand-tied skirt. Sizes include 1/2 and 3/8-ounce models with six color choices. Expect an MSRP of around $5.99.

SWD Swimming Dragonfly: Made from high-density plastic, this dragonfly imitation can be used as one unit, or the head can be cut so it may be fished as two different baits. The buoyant tail floats at an upwards angle, while the lifelike legs add visual appeal. Sizes include 3.5 and 5-inch models with eight color choices at a price of $5.99.

S-Stick: The new S-Stick or “Sneaky Stick” is a soft plastic that may be jerked or dead sticked. Its lifelike body features a thin diamond-tipped tail and is impregnated with salt. The bait will come in a 4.5-inch size with ten color options at a price of $5.99.

Molix's newest rod series is the Skirmjan which replaces the outgoing Fioretto Series

Molix's Skirmjan rods will retail for only $129.99 each

Skirmjan Rods: Taking over the vacancy left by the outgoing Fioretto series, the new Skirmjan rods from Molix utilize high-modulus graphite, both full and split EVA grips, and premium-quality guides and real seats. Models will range from 6-feet 6-inches to 7 feet and include one composite crankbait model. Each rod will include a protective sleeve at a price of $129.99. Expect Molix to reveal more specific details as the launch date approaches.

Thanks to the team at Molix for showing us their new lineup

Conclusion: In addition to what was listed above, there will also be new colors available for the Supernato and Finder Jerk 110 line of baits. We are told that most of these new products will launch before the beginning of fall. Stay tuned!
