BUFF's Cooling Technology Coming to Spring 2020 Angler Collection

Introduction:
Last Spring BUFF launched its most comfortable and technologically advanced products yet with the introduction of CoolNet UV+® in the Multifunctional Headwear and Multifunctional Headband lines. To enhance its 2020 angler collection, BUFF is now adding elements of the CoolNet UV+® to their other garments including arm sleeves, UVX Mask, and balaclavas.

The BUFF Balaclava has now been upgraded with Coolnet UV+

The BUFF arm sleeves (UV+, UV+ Coastal, UV+ Insect Shield®), UVX Mask, and balaclavas (UVX Balaclava, UVX Insect Shield® Balaclava) have all been re-engineered to include the HeiQ® moisture management technology in CoolNet UV+® to wick sweat away from skin and into the evaporative cooling fabric to keep anglers cool, dry, and comfortable.

Each of these products will feature upgrades in fit and functionality with new high-performance fabric manufactured by Carvico and updated 4-way ULTRA STRETCH construction. Seamless, lightweight, and boasting the seals of recommendation from The Skin Cancer Foundation with the highest sun protective rating possible (UPF 50+), the new BUFF offerings are ideal for anglers that brave a wide range of marine environments.

Looking for a lighter solution? The UVX Mask has also now been updated and provides protection to the neck and face with UPF50+

In addition, BUFF’s premium fishing gloves (Solar, Aqua, Aqua+, FullFlex, Elite) also feature The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation in Spring 2020, each registering a UPF 50+ sun protection rating.

BUFF's 4-way stretch arm sleeves are not just for anglers and are a good choice for cyclists, runners, and hikers

“For BUFF’s angling community, who are spending consecutive hours in exposed, tough conditions, our continued product innovation and development is crucial,” says Kevin Walker, Marketing Manager at Buff, Inc. “We are extremely proud to announce our Spring 2020 product assortment that provides safety with superior UV protection and maximum comfort with cooling technology, keeping anglers on the water.”

One of the things I really like most about BUFF garments in addition to the exceptional comfort and protection they offer is that they really are a stylish fun to wear garment. BUFF already has a wide selection of patterns for anglers to select from and continues to expand the portfolio of artists that they collaborate with to introduce new garments that are just as fashionable as they are functional.

Artist Alexandra Nicole has two primary passions: painting and the natural world, and her art can now be found on a new series from BUFF

This season artist Alexandra Nicole will join A.D. Maddox, Bugslinger, and Derek DeYoung as a licensed artist partnering with BUFF to create unique, marine-centric imagery for the CoolNet UV+® Multifunctional Headwear line.

Nicole’s coastal artwork is derived from her low country, island upbringing. Her first four designs for BUFF feature sharks, saltwater flies, and bonefish, each created with colors that channel the natural elements and tones of fishing in the Southeast. The new Alexandra Nicole Series, and all of the newly updated BUFF garments, will become available in January 2020.
