Tackle type: Angling Apparel
Manufacturer: Huk
Reviewer: Zander

Introduction: Huk is well known for building performance-driven apparel designed to keep anglers protected and comfortable on the water, and at ICAST 2025 the company rolled out a number of new products spanning technical, lifestyle, and footwear categories.

The Andros hoodie features a jacquard fabric that is both light and breathable. As usual the patterns that Huk offers look great

Andros Collection: The new Andros Hoodie takes its cues from the sweltering heat and humidity of the Bahamas. Constructed from an ultra-comfortable jacquard fabric, it delivers lightweight breathability and UPF 40 sun protection. Priced at $80 and available in sizes S-XXXL, the Andros is built with fly anglers in mind but extends well beyond that application. Its combination of airflow and sun coverage makes it equally appealing to bass anglers and outdoor enthusiasts looking for reliable comfort in hot, sunny environments.

Anglers looking for a traditional button down angling shirt will like the breathable and stretchable Next Level Shirt. It is crafted from a mix of cotton, polyester, and spandex and is light and has a 30+ UPF rating

I really liked the Watershed hooded shirt which is a blend of a shirt and hoodie made from a polyester and spandex blend

Watershed Hooded Shirt: For anglers seeking year-round performance, Huk introduced the Watershed Hooded Shirt. Featuring Dricomfort technology, this shirt regulates body temperature while wicking away moisture and offering UPF 50+ protection. Made from a polyester/spandex blend, the Watershed also integrates a zippered chest pocket, antimicrobial fabric, and a drawcord hood for added coverage. Available in sizes S-XXXL, with a MSRP $70.

The material helps wick away moisture while helping regulate body temperature. Personally I love a shirt with an integrated hood

Icon Pro Pant: Huk's new Icon Pro Pant was designed with input from the company's pro staff and captains to withstand long days on the water. Constructed from lightweight nylon, the pant delivers 50+ UPF protection, a DWR finish, and 4-way stretch durability. Purpose-built storage solutions, including a tear-resistant pliers pocket, make this an angler-focused design. Priced at $80, the Icon Pro stood out to me as especially well-suited for bass anglers who spend long hours exposed to the sun. Beyond the stain resistance and water repellency, what impressed me most was the comfort - the stretch fabric provides excellent freedom of movement for casting and fighting fish -while the abundance of well-positioned pockets adds real utility.

Huk has always offered some excellent fishing shorts ranging from the very technical...

...to lighter more casual pieces for those days on the beach

Camp Shirt: While Huk built its reputation on technical fishing apparel, the brand has also made a strong push into lifestyle gear. The new Camp Shirt blends laid-back style with functional features, thanks to its lightweight polyester/cotton/spandex construction. It provides UPF 30+ sun protection, dries quickly, and offers 4-way stretch for comfort. A built-in microfiber wipe adds a practical touch for keeping sunglasses clean. Available in sizes S-XXXL and priced at $70, this shirt feels like a natural fit for trips to the Bahamas or Hawaii - easygoing, functional, and full of coastal vibe.

Leather Rogue Wave Boot: Expanding their footwear lineup, Huk introduced the Leather Rogue Wave Boot, built for all-weather performance with a waterproof leather upper and durable rubber shell. A Grip-X non-marking outsole provides traction both on deck and ashore, while an 8mm EVA molded footbed delivers cushioning and arch support.

The Wave Boot offers the durability of leather without the normal weight

Reinforced pull-straps make entry and removal easy, and at 38 oz per pair (size 9) the boots balance rugged durability with surprising wearability. Offered in sizes 7-14 and priced at $150, the Leather Rogue Wave stands out for its comfort - while many leather boots can feel heavy and stiff, these felt noticeably lighter and more flexible, emphasizing all-day comfort.

Lifestyle Apparel for Women - Sandbar Dress: Rounding out the new introductions is Huk's Sandbar Dress, a piece that blends coastal lifestyle appeal with subtle technical performance. Designed with women anglers and outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the dress features a semi-fitted outer layer over a fully lined bodysuit with integrated shorts for comfort and mobility.

Christie Moye at HUK showed us a number of cool pieces for women ranging from the Sandbar dress to very angling application specific pieces

Drop-in storage pockets add practical utility, while the breathable nylon/spandex construction ensures all-day wearability. Measuring 27" in length, the Sandbar transitions seamlessly from a day on the beach or boat to evenings on the town. Offered in sizes XS-XXL and priced at $85, this release reflects Huk's growing commitment to designing more apparel specifically for women, expanding beyond performance tops into versatile lifestyle garments that are equally at home on and off the water.

This ICAST Huk launched a range of new pieces targeting anglers on and off the water

Our Quick Take: This ICAST Huk continued to evolve its lineup with technical gear built for anglers who demand protection and comfort in extreme environments, while also expanding lifestyle offerings that feel just as natural off the water. The new introductions at ICAST highlight the brand's focus on versatility - whether you're fishing under the hot sun, braving wet conditions, or simply relaxing dockside. Of all the additions, the two pieces that stood out most to me were the Andros Hoodie and the Icon Pro Pant, both packed with performance-driven features and smart storage solutions. Each looks purpose-built to keep anglers protected, comfortable, and moving freely during those long, hot days on the water.
