Santa Clara, CA. - TackleTog was founded on February 2009 by the team at TackleTour.com and is a weblog dedicated to exploring all things fishing and outdoors. TackleTog weaves together a wide range of views related to fishing and enjoying the outdoors through a series of blog entries from a group of bloggers with expertise ranging from angling, views on outdoor topics, to the technical nitty-gritty of what makes the technology behind “tackle” turn.

Anything outdoors is fair game, and with so many existing blogs dedicated to politics, technology, and celebrities the team at Tackletour decided the last thing the world needed was yet another traditional blog… TackleTog was created for anglers, tackle junkies, and those who like us are above all outdoor enthusiasts.

Current Bloggers Include:

CammerA true man of the land, Cammer is an individual who enjoys working with his hands building, modifying, creating tools to get the job done.

Forever mesmerized by mechanical and electrical gadgets, Dmoode’s other great passion is fishing – largemouth, smallmouth, musky, pike and more.

Backlash Backlash is a living illustration of how time puts all things in perspective. Here to share his unique insights and historical lessons, he’s especially fond of collecting reels and ephemera… yes, we said ephemera.

Botaner has spent a lifetime spreading eco-roots from where he draws his inspiration. An avid outdoorsman his passion is big baits, but he doesn’t reserve them for just bass.
