Our Quick Take: This year's ISE Sacramento show featured several exciting debuts, including signature rods from pro anglers and application-specific rods from some of the industry's biggest brands. Key trends continue to center around tackle designed for forward-facing sonar, BFS, and kayak fishing - categories that are shaping the future of the sport. Shows like ISE are invaluable for anglers, offering the chance to get hands-on with the latest gear while reinforcing that fishing remains one of the most accessible sports for people of all backgrounds. Where else can you chat directly with world-class pros, learn about their winning strategies, and pick up tips to refine your game? Every time I attend shows like the ISE, I leave with more than just a few new pieces of tackle - I gain insight into emerging techniques to apply on my home waters, which I find to be the most rewarding part of the experience.
