STORMR's New Aero Jacket and Bib Offer Anglers a Lighter Foul Weather Option

Manufacturer: Stormr

Introduction: Foul weather shouldn't put a damper on fishing, especially when some of the best bites always seem to manifest when mother nature is not cooperating. Stormr has built a solid reputation for quality, dependability, and design over the last few seasons. This ICAST the company expanded their offerings even further into the freshwater fishing market with lighter and more feature rich garments.

The Aero Jacket is part of Stormr's VAPR Tech (Variable-stretch Advanced Performance Raingear) line, the lighter weight equivalent to the company's Neoprene Core Technology

Aero-Dynamic: Originally known primarily for their neoprene garments the company has really increased their product selection to include garments that are better suited in warmer conditions and mobility for casting all day long is a priority.

The Aero is probably the most advanced waterproof and breathable rain gear system that Stormr has introduced to date.

The Aero features a YKK Aquaguard center-front zipper with a full length interior storm flap

The Aero is designed with Pro Bass Anglers and weekend warriors in mind and consists of a jacket and bib that are waterproof, breathable, and include durable stretch panels to increase the range of motion and provide comfort while offering free range of motion all day.

Panels are 100D high stretch for freedom of movement

The Aero garments are made out of 3-layer, DWR treated, 20,000mm waterproof m2 breathable Vapr Tech materials, YKK AquaGuard zippers, an internal cuff closure system and a two-way adjustable hood that is designed to provide protection from the elements but not weigh down anglers or block them off from seeing what is happening around them.

Nick Lassor shows us the two Aero color options

The Aero Jacket is available in two colors, black and blue, and in sizes from S-3XL. The Aero Jacket retails for $295.95 which is more reasonably priced than many offerings from other competitors, many of which offer less features and have lower water resistance and breathability ratings. The Aero Bib is available in one color, black with grey panel highlights, and sizes S-3XL and ML, LL, and XXL. The Aero Bib retails for exactly the same as the jacket at $295.95.

Stormr also offers garments designed to protect anglers from the sun's harmful UV rays

Sun Protection: Like many other foul weather gear companies Stormr has also expanded their offerings on the other end of the spectrum, providing anglers with protection from harmful UV exposure. In addition to sun gloves the company has come out with new UV Shield Gaiters made out of a lightweight moisture wicking fabric that is breathable and quick drying and has a UV 50+ rating. These gaiters will retail for $19.95 each and match up nicely with STORMR's new stylish mesh hats that are also the same price. Garments like this help the company transition from just a technical tool to a full on outdoor garment brand.

Thanks for Nick for walking us through Stormr's latest kit

Stormr gear always seem to be at their very best when the weather is at the worst. The company now has quality garments for the entire spectrum of applications ranging from surf fishing to the fishing bass tournaments and manages to provide them at reasonable price points, a winning combination in the highly competitive foul weather fishing garment market.
