The ChillBlocker gloves keep your hands dry and warm even in ice cold waters

Impressions: Comfortable and useful waterproof fishing gloves are hard to come by until we found out about the SealSkinz products a few years ago. SealSkinz, a Danalco company, manufacturers 100% waterproof apparel used for many outdoor activities such as boating, skiing, fishing, mountain biking, trekking, and much more. For 2004 SealSkinz releases a new waterproof glove with an added interior layer to help keep your hands warm on those even colder days. The ChillBlocker gloves are similar to the old design but are insulated with Polartec Power Stretch fleece materials that are extremely lightweight and warm. An initial quick test done in the high countries of Yosemite proved this new design to be even better than the old pair.

Also new for 2004: While the ChillBlocker gloves will keep your hands and fingers warm and comfortable, why not have socks that will do the same.  Having wet feet in icy conditions can put a quick end to any fishing trip. Along the new models of ChillBlockers, SealSkinz will soon introduce these improved fleece lined socks which are also 100% waterproof.

Conclusion: Mid-year has arrived and we find ourselves just a week and a half away from ICAST, the largest industry only fishing show. Danaclo is getting the jump on the new year by bringing out improved products that will be appearing on store shelves shortly.  New from SealSkinz this year are the ChillBlocker gloves and socks all lined with a high-tech fleece material that will keep your hands and feet warm while still providing 100% waterproof protection. Stay tuned for our upcoming reviews on the ChillBlocker gloves and socks as this new and exciting apparel will make our cold fishing days more enjoyable.
