Repel the Rain with the Columbia Hydrotech Rain Jacket
(continued)
Features:
Columbia offers a sweet array of features in this jacket. In addition to the
waterproof material and sealed seams, you'll find a front velcro rod holder,
inner and outer storage pockets, one large pocket (to pack the entire jacket),
an adjustable hood, adjustable cuffs, and dual drawcords to tighten up the
bottom of the jacket.
The adjustable cuffs greatly improve the fit of the sleeves.

The hood is tightened by a cord and one small channeled fastener on each side.
Simply pull the cord till the desired tightness is reached, then lock the cord
into the channel to hold in place.
Design and
Ergonomics:
There's no doubt that the Hydrotech Rain Jacket looks great either on or off the
water. It packs down to a very small size and is offered in sizes up to XXL.
While the colors offered are satisfying enough, a couple more would be nice.

As it should, water beads up and runs right off the jacket.
Application:
Is this strictly a fishing jacket? No way! Wear it hiking, working, or around
town. It looks fine with casual clothing and makes a great backup to keep in a
backpack or a car for those unexpected showers or for just a bit of extra warmth
when outdoors. I really didn't wear it fishing much at all, but rather wore it
when out and about or walking the local woods.
