Introduction:
We were introduced to Seaspin at ICAST 2014 where we saw some unique takes on rigging baits. This year we took at look at some new, more conventional offerings for the bass fishermen and then an interesting communications tool.

Seaspin has a new take on bass fishing's mousetrap.

Spineless Spinnerbait: The name of this product is still a work in progress, but basically it's a hybrid spinnerbait made out of half soft cable wire and half traditional hard wire. Unlike the product from Ko-Man-Chi, whose spinnerbats are entirely of soft wire, this new concept lure from Seaspin has a hard wire extending from the hook to the line tie, but then a soft wire up towards the blades.

It's a hybrid soft and hardwire short arm spinnerbait!

The blades are custom stamped and because of that soft wire support, more collapsible than traditional safety pin style spinnerbaits, increasing your hook up ratio and landing you more fish. Release date is still TBD.

The Bokon gets a jr version.

Bokon Jr : Of course, craw-like baits are a staple amongst any serious soft bait company and Seaspin's original Bokon is a popular choice. It is so popular in fact, the company is now offering a new, smaller sized Bokon Jr with the same salted shrimp scent but in a smaller size.

Remember these baits from last year?

They're finally ready and shipping to stores!

We're interested to see how this little bait performs in our local waters.

Want a better way to stay in touch with your crew?

Noise Canceling Headset : Seaspin has partnered up with Rosso Racing and has brought to the fishing industry, a rather interesting communications tool - headsets that can be matched up with your smartphone with military grade, noise canceling microphones.

Seaspin brings racing technology to fishing.

That's right, now you can stay in touch with teammates while running to keep in touch about the hot bite, water conditions, routing detours, etc., and not have to worry about not being able to hear because environmental conditions will not allow. They are waterproof and a bluetooth version is in the works. Cost is $150 per set (2 headphones and one controller).

Emanuele Turato is looking forward to throwing Seaspin's Spineless Spinnerbait.

Conclusion: The team at Seaspin is just getting their feet wet in the North American Market, but they certainly have some promising product to keep an eye on. Now that their intriguing swimbait rig is finally ready, we're interested to see how it performs in our local waters for those sometimes finicky green fish!
