Cobra Electronics new line of marine VHF radios offer unique features for all outdoor adventurers

MIAMI, FL. Cobra Electronics introduces a new line of handheld (MR HH 425LI VP and MR HH325 VP) and fixed (MR F80B) VHF radios at the recent Miami Boat Show. These new marine radios offer some unique features that no other VHF radios have such as Cobra's Rewind-Say-Again™ and VHF to GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) technologies.

The new fully-submersible handheld VHF's are the first to provide Cobra's Rewind-Say-Again™ technology. The Rewind-Say-Again™ feature is a digital voice recorder that automatically records the last 20 seconds of transmission. This integrated recorder can be a crucial feature for all boaters as one can hit a button to easily play back the last portion of the transmission such as calls to GPS coordinates for that hot fishing location. Also when you're running the boat there is engine and wind noise that can disturb your hearing.

Key Features:

MR HH 325 VP (MSRP $119.95)

10 NOAA weather channels and weather alert
SCAN lets users quickly locate conversations
VibrAlert provides a silent alert for incoming calls
Large, illuminated LCD provides maximum visibility even at night
Submersible to JIS7 standards
Key lock provides key pad security, eliminating accidental channel changes
Instant access to channels nine and 16 for emergency situations
Rechargeable battery pack, locking desktop charger, AC and DC Adapters and swiveling spring loaded belt clip included

The radio is also an All-Terrain-Radio that can be switched from VHF to GMRS. GMRS is a land-mobile UHF radio service in the United States that's used for short-distance two-way communication, which requires a FCC license to operate. There are 15 GMRS channels an angler can choose from and one single button can quickly switch between the two frequency bands.
